(35 min CLASS) Mabon Myths, Reflection, & Spell w/ Erin Anderson-Kipp

MODULE 1: MABON CUSTOMS & LORE

Mabon marks the second Harvest of the Wiccan calendar. It brings us to the restoration of balance between daylight and starlight: the Fall Equinox. At this time, the forces at work in the heavens and within the Earth encourage equanimity in our thoughts and behaviors.

In this module, I'll share a bit about Persephone, Queen of the underworld, and her mother, Demeter, and how their family tragedy influences and epitomizes the natural cycles of this season.

Imbolc (Feb 1 or 2) brings whispers of spring, new beginnings, and the promise of the sun’s return. Nature is starting to stir, yet in these cold months the hub of activity remains the hearth and the home. Both are ruled by the Celtic goddess Brighid, who finds her mortal counterpart in one of Ireland’s patron saints, Brigid of Kildare. We can call upon the Goddess Brighid with confidence for assistance in all domestic matters. We can invoke her when we seek support for women in childbirth, or when we want to ask protection of children and baby animals. Brighid is a generous deity who embodies the Imbolc qualities of purification, awakening, rites of passage, and care for the young. I can't wait for you to meet her! ALTAR CORRESPONDENCES: Colors: white, green, pink, yellow, brown (early spring colors) Crystals: amethyst, garnet, onyx, ruby, turquoise Food: breads, cakes, chamomile, cheese, yogurt, basil Scents: frankincense, lavender, rosemary, jasmine Activities: blessing/cleansing the home & hearth

MODULE 2: MABON REFLECTION

The wisdom of the Goddess Persephone can help us make friends with our shadow self. This guided reflection shares a visualization technique for using her guidance to transmute past traumas and regrets into inspiration.

Bridge Magick teaches us how we can hold space for more than one truth without losing sanity, and to communicate / travel between independent states of being...

MODULE 3: MABON SPELL FOR DISCERNMENT

Runes and tarot are two examples of ancient divination tools. But you can create your own! In this module I share how you can use objects in nature or around the house to activate your intuition and meet your challenges in an empowered, inspired way.
