(15 min PRACTICE) Alternate Nostril Breathing w/ Maya Elena

Nadi Shodhana is a Pranayama breath work practice (commonly known as alternate nostril breathing) that's best practiced seated, but you can also try it standing! If you have a cold or a stuffy nose, you can either save this for another day or imagine air flowing between nostrils.

Nadi Shodhana creates balance between multiple koshas, or multiple "bodies":

1 - Physical Body (Annamayakosha); connects Left & Right hemisphere, creates coherence between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

2 - Energetic Body (Pranamayakosha); All over our body we have "Nadi" points (think the chakra system, but we have thousands!) and there are two that balance Ida & Pingala (feminine & masculine)
